Come see Earth being created in one of Mother Nature’s most awe-inspiring sights! Fly with the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Kona Circle of Fire tour across black lava fields, and over Volcanoes National Park, plummeting waterfalls, and lush rainforest. Tour the active Kilauea volcano in all her glory, while you enjoy expert descriptions from the seasoned pilots.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Kona accepts nothing less than the best in the business when it comes to their machines. The A-Star Airbus AS350 is the top choice for air touring companies all over the world. Highly regarded for safety, visibility and agility, these choppers have a solid name in excellence. In addition to the popular A-Star style, they also fly the well-appointed Eco-Star. With a smooth and quiet ride, the Eco-Star boasts a 23% larger cabin size. You’ll find every seat onboard feels like first class. Providing a raised rear seating area, ample shoulder and leg room for each guest, and wraparound windows on the front for ample viewing opportunities, the Eco-Star is the new luxury standard for air tours. No matter where you sit, you really can’t go wrong! The natural beauty of the incredible Big Island landscape will amaze you from any seat onboard.

Your intense 50-minute Circle of Fire Tour will check in from the Hilo heliport. This allows the best use of fuel and flight time over the active sites. Wind, weather, and Mother Nature herself often dictate the flight pattern for the day. The pilots are always current with the active lava, and they know how to fly in each type of weather. Since the volcano here has been erupting since 1983, each tour is a fresh chance to explore for these pilots. In addition to the lava action, you’ll also get to see part of the island with lush green rainforest, waterfalls, and the best of what the Big Island has to offer. When you’re ready to witness one of the greatest shows on Earth, reserve your seat in the sky with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Kona.

It was a smooth ride, informational and terrifically beautiful. Apparently we lucked into a perfect day for flying where even the smoke from the caldera was going straight up. The experience was like living a national geographic special.
Suggestion for those folks like me that like a map reference from time to time. Maybe a handout or a map with reference points for the ride would be convenient? Otherwise, we had a wonderful time! Thank you, Greg and company.
